At BCgolden Cattery, we breed purebred British Shorthair and Longhair silver and golden-shaded cats.

Our goal is to find the most loving and responsible owners for our kittens, who will take care of them in the best possible way. Our kittens are raised in a friendly, stress-free environment, making them extraordinarily lovable and affectionate.

Our
Story

We are a small home-based cattery in British Columbia, Canada.

We breed British Shorthair and Longhair cats in silver and golden shaded colours with green and blue eyes. Breeding cats is our passion,; we give them much love and care. Our cattery is TICA/CFA registered, and our cats come from European Champion bloodlines. Our cats and kittens are integral to our family, and we shower them with love and attention. British Shorthairs and Longhairs are known to be friendly, social, and human-oriented cats.

We believe cats should trust their humans, so we never crate them. Our cats and kittens live alongside us and receive ample attention daily. They get along well with all family members and are highly attached to their owners. Their patient nature allows them to interact well with kids and other pets in the household, including dogs. However, as actual British aristocratic cats, they do not tolerate rough treatment - they should never be treated as toys. British Shorthair and Longhair cats are known for their excellent nature, quiet temperament, and intelligence. The silver and golden-shaded British Shorthair and Longhair cats are stunning animals known for their beauty, elegance, luxurious appearance, and exceptional manners.
